My Requirements

Because we homeschool, there are no school runs or pick-ups involved. The entire focus of this role is to provide a rich, fully immersive Spanish language environment in our home. 7yo has a high level of understanding, but we're not a bilingual family and he needs more hours of immersion to accelerate his Spanish fluency. We want the language to be picked up naturally through play, storytelling, reading, arts & crafts, daily conversation - we're open to any creative, musical, or educational activities that feel natural to you and that keep the environment engaging and fun.

We request that English is avoided entirely during the session, so our 7yo is encouraged to learn through context clues, gestures, and active play. We're looking for a weekly commitment of about 3-hours in a single time slot.


Bringing Your Own Children Welcome:

We're open to you bringing your own child(ren) along to sessions if needed. The only requirement is that the interaction remains fully immersive - so no English - and the children are encouraged to play and communicate purely in Spanish together.


Our Ideal Schedule:

We're highly flexible during the school day. Evenings and weekends tend to be busy with activities, but we'd be interested in trying to find a way to work around your existing commitments or family schedule if the fit is good and you don't have daytime availability.


Overview of Requirements:

- Native Spanish speaker.
- Able and willing to maintain a strictly 100% Spanish-only interactive environment.
- Enhanced DBS check and Paediatric First Aid training preferred.
- Local to BS3 or nearby.
