About Me

I am a highly experienced childcare practitioner caring for children 0-19. I’m reliable and professional, nurturing and caring. I can provide excellent references and would describe myself as a caring and needs led childcare professional. I feel communication is key with both carers and children and although I am flexible I do appreciate clear work routines. I am a car driver and love the outdoors- I have excellent knowledge of child development and also support services.

My Experience

My experience spans over 30 plus years in various settings including children’s centres and CAHMS. I’m qualified L4 and have numerous other training courses including UNICEF breastfeeding, ELKLAN and baby massage which I gained during my time in children’s centres.I have also supported families with behaviour and parenting support and attended courses through Webster Stratton. I have an excellent knowledge re safeguarding, child development, supporting speech and language and generally enjoy working with children and families. During my time with CAMHS I supported children and young people with mental health support and strategies.
