About Me
Hello, I’m Khatija Chopdat, an experienced and caring OFSTED registered childminder. I have been childminding since 2009 and am passionate about providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive.
With many years of experience working with children of different ages, I understand the importance of supporting each child’s individual needs and development. In the evenings, I also teach religious classes to children, which has further strengthened my skills in guiding, encouraging, and building positive relationships with young learners.
I provide nutritious, home-cooked halaal meals and snacks, ensuring children enjoy healthy, balanced food throughout the day. Children also have access to a secure private outdoor space where they can play and make the most of the good weather through outdoor activities.
I take pride in creating a warm, welcoming, home-from-home setting where children feel happy, secure, and valued, while giving parents peace of mind that their little ones are receiving the best possible care.
My Experience
I have over 15 years of professional childminding experience, having cared for children since 2009. Alongside my professional experience, I have raised my own children and have cared for my nieces, nephews, and grandchildren, giving me a wealth of practical knowledge and understanding of children’s needs at every stage of their development.
I also teach religious classes to children in the evenings, which has further enhanced my experience in supporting children’s learning, development, and confidence. My aim is always to provide a caring, safe, and happy environment where every child feels valued and supported.

Paediatric First Aid trained
Safeguarding and Child Protection training
Food Hygiene training
Regularly update my knowledge through professional training and continuous development
Experienced in supporting children’s learning, development, and wellbeing in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
My Availability
I am available to provide childminding services from Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm.
I offer full-day and part-day care, subject to availability, in a safe, welcoming, and home-from-home environment. I aim to be as flexible as possible to meet families’ needs where I can, so please feel free to get in touch to discuss your childcare requirements.
