About Me
We have recently relocated to Motherwell (ML1 area) from England and are looking for a warm, structured, and nurturing childminder for our bright and happy 3.5-year-old son. Our family values routine, calm environments, focused development, and keeping us updated. We are looking for a childcare start date in August 2026.
My Requirements
We are looking for part-time, mid-morning to afternoon care. Ideally, between 11:00 am and 3:00 pm (or slightly longer blocks like 11:00 am to 5:00 pm on Thursdays and Fridays). We can be highly flexible on the exact days of the week.
He is eligible for the standard 1,140 Hours Free Childcare allocation for 3 and 4-year-olds. We strictly require a North Lanarkshire Council Funded Partner Provider who can accept these funded hours.
We want our son to thrive socially and academically. We are specifically looking for a childminder who will involve him in structured indoor activities (reading, puzzles, arts and crafts, language development) and clean outdoor exploration (garden play, local walks, nature outings), rather than unguided free-play all day.
