About Me
We're Sophie and David, a professional couple living locally and expecting our first baby in September 2026.
We're beginning our search for childcare early as we know good childcare places can be in high demand. We are looking for a caring, experienced childminder who can provide a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment for our child from around August/September 2027.
As first-time parents, finding someone we trust and feel comfortable with is extremely important to us. We value kindness, open communication and creating a positive environment where children can learn, develop confidence and have fun.
We are hoping to find a long-term, full time childcare arrangement with someone who genuinely enjoys supporting children's development and becoming an important part of their early years.
We look forward to meeting prospective childminders and learning more about the care they provide.
My Requirements
Required Start Date: August/September 2027
Child's Age at Start: Approximately 11–12 months
On a full time basis.
Looking For:
Registered childminder
Full-time childcare (would also consider 4 days per week depending on availability)
A warm, caring and nurturing environment
Plenty of age-appropriate activities and learning through play
Outdoor play and opportunities to explore the local area
Healthy meals and snacks (where provided)
Regular communication and updates with parents
A setting that supports social, emotional and developmental growth
Ideal Childminder:
Experienced with babies and toddlers
Reliable and flexible where possible
Strong references and positive reviews
Creates a home-from-home atmosphere
Encourages curiosity, creativity and independence
Location: Ideally within easy reach of Crystal Palace, Anerley, Penge, Sydenham or surrounding areas.
Additional Information: We are happy to arrange visits and meetings and would love to hear from childminders who may have availability from late summer 2027 onwards.
