About Me

I finished college in early June with my Level 3 BTEC qualification in business studies and now going to university to study social work to become a mental health social worker.

Along side that, I’m also a creative with a passion for writing and art (both traditional and digital). I have been doing art since I was young and I enjoy very much and recently found an interest in writing. I also hope to use my skills to make it into the industry.

My Experience

I have experience in volunteering at a boot camp that had neurodivergent children and young adults. This experience has taught me about safeguarding, patience and empathy because these types of individuals would need a type of support that would require our attention and the ability to understand what they need. During my time, it has taught me to understand my own disability as I’m an autistic individual.

There would be times that I would babysit my cousin, who are ages 11 and 8 when my aunt and uncle are working late during the school term breaks, holidays, weekends and most weekdays. I provide them with food when they are hungry, I play games with them and watch their favourite TV shows together.
