About Me

Hi! I'm Maimunah, a Chemical Engineering student at Loughborough University with a genuine love for working with children.

I'm a calm, patient and responsible person who enjoys creating a safe, fun and nurturing environment where children can learn and grow. Whether it's reading stories, getting creative with arts and crafts, playing games or spending time outdoors, I love keeping children engaged through activities that are both enjoyable and age-appropriate.

I'm organised, reliable and have a caring nature, and I understand how important it is for parents to feel confident that their child is in safe hands. I take pride in building positive relationships with both children and families, and I always aim to provide attentive, compassionate care.

I'm happy to help with meals and snacks, bedtime routines, homework support for older children, light tidying related to the children, and following any routines or preferences parents have.

My Experience

I have experience babysitting children aged 4 and 9, where I was responsible for keeping them safe, planning engaging activities, preparing snacks and meals, reading with them, playing games and maintaining their usual routines.

Alongside my childcare experience, I have several years of customer service experience in busy, people-focused roles. These positions have strengthened my communication skills, patience, reliability and ability to remain calm and organised in different situations.

I enjoy helping children develop confidence and independence through positive encouragement and age-appropriate play, and I'm always committed to providing a caring and supportive environment.
