Live Out Nanny Job in Epsom
About Me
We are a friendly, down to earth family of 4 living in Epsom Downs, looking for a caring and reliable nanny to become a positive part of our daily routine. Our home is lively, warm and centred around our two boys, who will be entering Year 1 and Year 4 in September. They are energetic, curious and affectionate, and thrive with gentle structure and a calm, reassuring presence.
Our eldest has recently moved schools after experiencing bullying, so we value someone who is emotionally attuned, patient and able to offer steady encouragement during transitions. Our youngest is dairy free due to CMPA, which is easily managed and not life threatening.
We’re a family who enjoys clear communication, kindness and collaboration. This will be our first time hiring a nanny, so we appreciate someone who is confident in their role and happy to help us establish routines that work well for everyone.
We also have a very friendly eight year old dog who is very much part of the family, so being comfortable around pets is important.
We’re looking for a live out nanny who can drive, and who is happy to support us with morning and after school care during the week, with occasional babysitting or holiday cover when possible. Above all, we hope to find someone who will enjoy being part of our family rhythm and help create a positive, nurturing environment for the boys
My Requirements
The core care we need is on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, with morning care from 7:30am until school drop off, and after school care from 3:15pm until approximately 6pm. There is also the possibility of adding Mondays, although this is not essential at present. If Monday care is included, our eldest attends a local tutoring session at 3:40pm for one hour.
In the mornings, the boys are early risers and may have already eaten, but occasional help with breakfast may be needed. After school, we would appreciate support with preparing a snack and a simple tea, followed by a calm routine that includes light reading practice or basic homework duties.
