About Me

Hello! We are the Gray-Bain family, a busy family of 4 consisting of an American (NYC) Mom, Scottish Dad, a very sensible 6 year old girl and a very active, 2 year old boy who likes to jump off things. I am an entrepreneur and tech marketer, and my husband is a film/tv industry professional.

We recently moved to Marlow, by way of London (for 1 year) and a few states in the US (NYC/NJ, LA, SF) . We are looking forward to setting roots in Marlow.

We are looking for a nanny housekeeper, who can provide part time support at home, and with the kids. Our needs will continuously evolve, and we are looking for someone who can be flexible with us. For example, our son is about to start potty training - and that will be a focus, and then perhaps in a few months, when we start renovating our home, there may be a focus on liaising with tradesmen or packages we have coming to the house. Etc.

We expect to start with part-time support of 4hrs per day, 5 days a week. With date night support at times (hopefully 1x per week).

As a mom, my primary goal is to raise 2 good people in this world - kind, loving kids with manners, respect, understanding of responsibility, appreciation of hard work. And it takes a village! As such, my kids will never and should never treat household support as staff. We work hard to establish a familial relationship. And its important for us to find someone who can help us in raising good people. Even in limited encounters, this means encouraging age appropriate responsibility - like having the 2 year old wipe up water he may spill. Or ensuring they both use please and thank you and are respectful to adults. Maybe having the kids help with folding. That kind of thing :-)
