Part Time Nanny Job in Cambridge
About Me
We are a busy, friendly family with two working parents and two children who attend different schools. One parent travels regularly for work, so we are looking for some extra support to help manage the logistics of our family life and provide consistent after-school care.
We are an active family who enjoy spending time outdoors, including cycling, scootering, walking, and playing in our garden. The children are creative and particularly enjoy arts and crafts, as well as having time to relax and unwind after a busy school day.
We have a family cat and are looking for a nanny who will become a trusted and valued part of our children's daily routine, helping to create a happy, calm, and nurturing home environment during the afternoons and early evenings.
My Requirements
We are looking for a dependable and caring after-school nanny to provide childcare for our children from the end of the school day until early evening, Monday to Thursday during term time. The role will involve helping with school pickups, supporting attendance at after-school clubs and activities, preparing a simple early dinner, and creating a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment at home. We would love someone who can encourage both active play and creativity, whether that's spending time outdoors, enjoying arts and crafts, or helping with homework and reading. Most importantly, we are looking for someone who understands the importance of balancing structured activities with downtime, allowing the children to relax and recharge after a busy day at school. Childcare will take place in our family home, and we are seeking a long-term commitment from someone who can become a consistent and trusted part of our children's routine. We'd be open to a nanny house keeping arrangement, including cleaning outside of childcare hours, but this is not essential.
