About Me
Hi, I’m Isobel! I’m a 20 year old psychology student going into my 3rd year at the University of Glasgow. I am a friendly, reliable and outgoing person who enjoys spending time with children. Growing up in a big, close-knit family I’ve often helped look after my younger cousins and keeping them entertained through games, crafts and outdoor activities. I am also happy to help with homework, bedtime routines, preparing meals and some tidying up and cleaning. I have also had dogs my whole life so I am very comfortable around animals and any petsitting duties if needed. I understand the importance of feeling your children are safe and happy, and I aim to create a supportive, fun and positive environment!
My Experience
Although I haven’t worked as a paid babysitter before, I have experience with caring for my younger cousins of different ages. This has included playing with them, supervising activities, preparing snacks and meals, bedtime routines and making sure they are as safe as they are entertained!
As a psychology student I’m also interested in child development and communication, which I think has given me a deeper insight and understanding when interacting with children.
My Qualifications
- Currently studying BSc Psychology at University if Glasgow
- Good communication and interpersonal skills developed through several years of customer service and hospitality work
- Comfortable around pets
- Happy to help with homework and other educational activities
My Availability
I am mainly available during afternoon/ evenings and weekends during term time, with much greater availability during holidays. Happy to discuss regular or occasional babysitting depending on your family’s needs :)
My Fees
- Babysitting from £12.00 per hour
£12-£15 per hour (depending on the number of children and location)
