Hi, I’m Mia, a bubbly and caring 22-year-old with a real passion for helping children feel happy, safe and supported. I work full-time as a Teaching Assistant and 1:1 Support Assistant in a primary school, and I also work the same role with older children in the senior school. I have experience working with SEND and a child who is non-verbal. I have completed training explained below.
I am fully DBS checked and first-aid trained, with experience supporting children with a range of needs. I love creating fun, engaging activities and making children smile, while ensuring they feel comfortable and well cared for. My Experience
I have valuable childcare experience through my full-time role in a school, where I support children in a caring, patient and engaging way throughout the day. Outside of work, I regularly look after a four-year-old family friend, planning fun activities and helping with their routine. I also have experience caring for babies from newborn to six months old, so I understand the importance of gentle care, close attention and creating a calm, safe environment for little ones.
