Chris
Nanny in Tunbridge Wells
My Summary
About Me
Hello! I’m Christina, an experienced nanny and early years practitioner based in Tunbridge Wells.
Alongside my childcare work, I’m an artist specialising in nature-inspired paintings, and I enjoy bringing my love of creativity into my work with children through painting, crafts and storytelling, always following each child’s interests.
I have experience caring for children aged 12 months to 12 years through both nannying and nursery settings, and I aim to create a calm, nurturing environment where children feel safe and valued.
My approach is gentle, patient and child-centred, supporting each child’s curiosity, imagination and development through play while following their individual interests.
Whether we’re going on walks, reading together, making art or enjoying imaginative play at home, I love creating an environment where children feel happy, comfortable and seen.
I hold an enhanced DBS check, paediatric first aid training and safeguarding training. Building trusting relationships with both children and parents is incredibly important to me, and I’m committed to providing warm, reliable care for every family I work with.
My Experience
I have four years of experience caring for children aged 12 months to 12 years through both nannying and nursery settings.
As a nanny, I have supported families with daily routines, school pick-ups, preparing healthy meals and snacks, helping with homework, reading together, planning creative activities, spending time outdoors and creating a calm, happy environment tailored to each child's individual interests and needs.
In my nursery roles, I worked closely with children of different ages as a key person, building strong relationships with both children and their families. I planned engaging activities tailored to each child's stage of development and interests, observed and supported their progress in line with the EYFS, and helped create a safe, nurturing environment where children could learn and grow with confidence.
