We're a friendly professional family with a newborn son, looking for a reliable housekeeper who is also confident and experienced with babies.
My Requirements
The role:
Tuesdays and Fridays, 4-5 hours per visit (10 hours per week total), ongoing weekly position
Primarily housekeeping: general cleaning, tidying, laundry, keeping the house running smoothly while we adjust to life with a little one
Occasionally acting as backup childcare for our son for short periods — so genuine newborn/baby experience is essential, not just a willingness to help
We're looking for someone who:
Has demonstrable experience caring for babies (as a nanny, mother's help, maternity nurse or similar)
Desirable criteria, Holds an enhanced DBS check (Update Service preferred).
Can provide references from previous families, which we will follow up
Is reliable, warm and happy with a role that is mostly housekeeping with childcare as the exception rather than the rule
