Hello,
We are a husband and wife with a lovely 7-month-old daughter, we live in Ilkeston And we are looking for a local childminder/ babysitter.
I am due to return to work in August/September. We are looking for a flexible childminder or babysitter to help with childcare when needed.
My husbands is Car transporter and mainly works locally. He works alternating shifts. One week he works early shifts and usually finishes around 1:00 pm, while the following week he works late shifts. On his early shift weeks, there are occasionally times when he is delayed getting home due to transportation happening further away, which means we need someone to look after our daughter so I can start work on time.
We are looking for someone who would be available at very short notice to care for our daughter for approximately 1–2 hours, usually between 1:30 pm and 3:30 pm. Unfortunately, my husband often doesn't find out about his shift evening before, so we would usually only be able to give notice the night before if childcare is needed.
We understand this is quite a specific request, but we are hoping to find someone who is flexible, reliable, and happy to help when needed.
Looking ahead, as our daughter gets older and becomes eligible for government-funded childcare hours, we may also be looking for a more regular, longer-term childcare arrangement.
