School Work Experience
Grange Community Primary School

I completed a week full-time work experience placement in a local primary school, supporting the Reception classes (ages 4-5)

My role in my work experience included:

• Leading small group activities such as reading with children, practicing phonics, number games, and arts and crafts.

• Helping children with personal skills and calming upset or overstimulated pupils

• Communicating daily with staff to update them on children’s progress.

This placement gave me formal training in child safety, behavior management and age-appropriate engagement. These are skills I bring to every babysitting booking.

Babysitting for Family & Friends.

For around 3 years I have been the go-to babysitter for family. This has included looking after children aged 2 to 14 years old. I also look after pets aswell!!

During babysitting my duties include:

• Following exact bedtime routines such as bathing, screen time, and play time. i also do my best to settle little ones to sleep.

• I prepare healthy, allergy-friendly meals and snacks.

• i help with homework, reading practice and educational play.

• I have also handled overnight stays. However as i do work in a coffee shop on a 0-hour contract my days and hours vary, so any overnight stays will have to be discussed.

Pet Sitting

Alongside childcare, I have 4+ years of experience pet sitting for the same family and friend groups – so if you have furry family members, they will be well looked after too.

My duties include:

• Dog walking. This is around 1- 1.5 hours.

• Cat feeding and litter tray cleaning.

• Administering medication. instructions will be needed.

• Sending photo updates to owners while they’re away.

My Qualifications

I have a strong set of academic and practical qualifications that make me a reliable and capable babysitter.

i hold GCSEs in English literature at a Grade 6 and English language at a 5. I am confident at reading stories, helping with homework, and keeping you updated with clear, regular messages about your child’s day.

My Science GCSE at a Grade 4 and college BTEC Level 3 in Applied Science at MPP. This means I have a clear understanding of child health, hygiene, allergy safety, and nutrition. You can trust me to keep your little ones safe and healthy.

I also have Maths at a grade 4 and history at a grade 5. I can help with numeracy practice.

I completed a 1 week full time work experience placement in a local primary school, supporting Reception. This gave me formal training in child safeguarding, behaviour support, and how to engage kids of different abilities safely and kindly.

I have 3+ years of regular babysitting experience for family. As a bonus, I have 4+ years of pet sitting experience. so if you have dogs, cats, or small furry family members, I’ll look after them as part of my standard rate.

My Availability

I offer flexible bookings. i can work on thursdays after 4pm. i am unable to work on weekends due to my job i have at the moment. However, if help is needed on a weekend i will need a weeks notice so i am able to speak to my work before the rota for that week is published. My set days in my current job are Thursdays and the weekend. I also offer sending parents regular photo/text updates during babysitting. I am also able to help around the house and do some housework at no extra cost. i am based in cheshire and i am happy to travel short distances to help you out with your children and pets of course!!

My Fees

• Babysitting from £12.50 per hour

My standard rate is £12.50 an hour. That covers all the usual babysitting bits like meals, routines, play, tidying up after the kids, and I’ll also look after any pets you have for no extra cost, since I do regular pet sitting too. It’s based on my experience working in a primary school and babysitting for family and friends for years, so you know you’re getting someone reliable who knows how to look after kids properly. For 3+ kids or overnights I will have a slightly adjusted rate just as it could potentially affect my wages at my current job.
