About Me
Hello, my name is Elesha and I’m a mum to my wonderful little boy Oscar, who is 14 months old.
Oscar is a very happy, smiley little boy who has been like this since a baby. He has a lovely, curious personality and enjoys exploring the world around him. He loves being outdoors, going for walks, visiting the park, going swimming and Watching his dad play football, and discovering new things. He also enjoys playing with toys, looking at books, and interacting with other children. He has a really strong bond with his little cousin who is only 15 days older than him. Oscar has just started to walk, it is not consistent yet but he is definitely nearly there!
As a family, we’re looking for a warm, caring, and nurturing childminder where Oscar can continue to learn, play, and grow in a safe and happy environment. We’re excited to find someone who will become an important part of his early years and support his development while he has lots of fun.
My Requirements
I will be starting a full-time Mental Health Nursing degree at university in September. The course runs Monday to Friday and also includes placement blocks throughout the year. As I am still waiting to receive my timetable, I don’t yet know my exact university days or hours, but I expect to be attending approximately 9:15am to 5:15pm. I should receive my timetable very soon and will be able to confirm my childcare requirements as soon as I have it.
I’m hoping for Oscar to start from the first Monday in September, although I can confirm the exact start date once I have my timetable. During university holidays, including the summer break and half terms, Oscar won’t usually require childcare.
Oscar has a good routine and sleeps through the night. He usually wakes between 8:00am and 9:00am, has a bottle when he wakes up, followed by breakfast around an hour later. He normally has a morning nap between 10:00am and 11:00am for around an hour. Lunch is usually between 12:00pm and 1:00pm, and he will sometimes have a second nap at around 3:00pm if he needs one. Dinner is usually between 5:00pm and 5:30pm, with healthy snacks and water available throughout the day. He goes to bed at around 7:30pm with a bottle. For naps, Oscar has a dummy to help him settle, but he doesn’t use one during the day.
We’re looking for a caring, nurturing environment where Oscar can continue to learn, play, and build his confidence. He loves spending time outdoors, enjoys sensory and messy play, and would benefit from opportunities to socialise with other children. At the moment, his favourite things are playing with balls and toy cars, and he especially loves swimming and being in the pool.
Oscar has no known allergies, dietary requirements, or medical conditions.
