Childminder in Corby
My Summary
About Me
Hello!
My name is Lyndsey and I am an Ofsted Registered & Fully Insured Childminder, based in Corby in the Priors Hall area.
I am passionate about providing a safe, nurturing and welcoming home from home environment where children can learn through play, grow in a peaceful environment and thrive in their early years.
I believe every child is unique and deserves to feel happy, valued and supported. I aim to provide a fun, caring setting where children can explore, play and develop at their own pace through a mixture of child led play, creative activities, outdoor adventures and learning opportunities that follow the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework (EYFS).
Building strong relationships with both children and their families is very important to me. I believe open communication and working in partnership with parents helps children feel secure and reach their full potential.
I provide healthy meals and snacks throughout the day and all nappies and wipes are available at no extra cost to families to make their lives a little bit easier day to day.
I welcome both funded and non funded children and strive to create an inclusive environment where every child feels they belong.
My goal is for every child in my care to feel safe, loved, confident and excited to come each day - whilst giving their parents peace of mind that their child is receiving the highest standard of care.
My Experience
As a parent of three children, I have many years of hands on experience caring for and supporting children through all stages of their early development. This has given me a strong understanding of children’s individual needs, routines and the importance of creating a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment.
My family has given me personal experience of supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), helping me to develop patience, understanding, flexibility and a child centred approach. I recognise that every child is unique and I am committed to adapting my care to help each child feel valued, included and secure to thrive everyday.
Alongside my personal experiences I have completed the required childminder training and I am committed to continuing my professional development to ensure I provide the highest standard of care. I look forward to building strong relationships with families and supporting every child’s learning, development and well being in a warm home from home environment.
