My Experience
I have hands-on experience working with children through volunteering and clinical placements. I planned and delivered engaging activities for children as a volunteer clown & entertainer at community events, supported children and families through LÖSEV (Leukaemia Children Foundation), and completed a counsellor internship at a wellbeing centre working with individuals from diverse backgrounds. I also completed a placement in a nursing home, delivering structured cognitive activities for older adults, which gave me strong skills in patience, communication and care for vulnerable individuals of all ages.
My Qualifications
B.A. in Psychology, Ya?ar University, Turkey (2020–2024). Completed clinical placements including a Counsellor Internship at ?zmir Ye?ilay Counselling Centre (YEDAM) and a Geriatric Service placement at a nursing home. Currently based in the UK as a student. Fluent in English (written and spoken), native Turkish speaker, and conversational Arabic.
