My Experience

I have over 15 years’ professional childcare experience as a former Ofsted-registered childminder, caring for babies, toddlers and primary school-aged children in a safe, nurturing and stimulating home environment.

Throughout my childminding career, I worked in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), supporting children’s learning and development through play, exploration and age-appropriate activities. I regularly observed children’s progress and planned activities to help them develop confidence, independence and important early skills.

I also took part in local authority childminding groups and training, which enabled me to keep my knowledge up to date, share good practice with other childcare professionals and provide the best possible care for the children and families I supported.

During my time as a childminder, I built strong relationships with families and supported children with their daily routines, including play, meals and bedtime. I now work full-time during the day and offer evening and weekend babysitting in the family’s home.

I have experience caring for children from newborn through to primary school age, hold an Enhanced DBS with an active DBS Update Service subscription, have a full UK driving licence and my own car, and I am a non-smoker.

My Qualifications

CACHE Level 3 Certificate in Childcare (completed while working as an Ofsted-registered childminder)

My Availability

My availability is from 6:30 pm on weekdays, Saturdays and Sundays by arrangement.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £14.00 per hour

Fees

My standard babysitting rate is £14.00 per hour.

This includes caring for children in their own home, supervising play, preparing simple meals and snacks, supporting bedtime routines, and providing a safe, caring and engaging environment.
