About Me
Three kids: a daughter of 9 and two boys, 7 and 5. The older two are at Woodside C of E in Baddesley Ensor, and our youngest is at St Benedict’s in Atherstone for now, though we’re hoping he’ll move to Woodside in the new year. I’m freelance and work away at short notice, and my wife has just qualified as a primary school teacher and starts in September. Busy house, easy-going family, and we need some wraparound support to make it all work.
My Requirements
We’re trying to work out the exact pattern at the moment as my wife hadn’t started her role yet but as a starting point:
Term time, from September. Before school Monday to Friday is our main need, roughly [7.15 to 9am]. After school on some days, likely [2 or 3 days], plus flexibility for ad-hoc cover when I’m away at short notice. Happy to talk through the exact pattern.
A driver is essential. Until January we have two schools to cover, Woodside C of E in Baddesley Ensor and St Benedict’s in Atherstone, so the runs need someone with their own car. Once our youngest transfers, it should all be Woodside. Again we may well be able to do one of the runs (Baddesley) but trying to work this out.
Our eldest has been assessed with ADHD and can get anxious about school, so patience and consistency matter to us more than anything else. Experience with additional needs is a plus.
Some holiday cover would be useful too, though we can sort that separately.
We’d rather have one reliable person the kids get to know than a rota of different faces.
