Looking for after school nanny Monday to Friday 4-6pm for 2 boys aged 5 and 8 in St Albans
About Me
We have two boys aged 5 and 8, both at local Fleetville Infants and Juniors schools opposite each other. (School is 15 minute walk from St Alans City station). Both parents work full time Monday to Friday, often from home but occasionally returning from London. We're looking for an After School Nanny to pick them up and walk them home, then help prepare an easy dinner ready for us to take over at 6pm. They're football fanatics and love kicking a ball in the garden and local playground.
My Requirements
Pick up from Infants school at 4:15pm and Juniors school at 4:30pm (after some after-school clubs), then walk or scooter with them home (approximately 15 minute walk via the footpath Alban Way). Once home around 5pm, help prepare dinner for the family using ingredients we provide, ready for us to take over by 6pm. Boys are pretty fussy food-wise so meal prep will be very simple meals. No other housework required. Regular Monday to Friday, 4–6pm, starting Thursday 3 September 2026. (Can also drop occasional days if needed). Flexible to also continue employment over school holidays (boys attend holiday clubs but may need picking up from local clubs and walking home, plus dinner prep as usual). Equally happy to work school term time only. Hourly rate negotiable. We would ideally like a couple of references from other families. Open to male or female applicants. This is an ongoing role with no set end date — we're looking for a long-term arrangement.
