About Me
We are a warm, close-knit family based in the Southall area, looking for a childminder for our baby boy, Akari. We are both working professionals and hope to find someone who will become a trusted and valued part of his early years.
Akari is a happy, curious and active baby who enjoys playing, exploring and interacting with people. He is sociable, affectionate and interested in everything around him.
We value kindness, reliability and open communication, and would love to find someone who can offer Akari a welcoming, home-from-home environment while we are working.
My Requirements
We are looking for a childminder who is experienced and confident in caring for babies under one. Akari will be around nine months old and will need attentive, responsive care in a safe and nurturing environment.
We would like his usual feeding and nap routine to be followed as closely as possible, while remaining flexible to his needs on the day. He will need support with bottles or milk feeds, age-appropriate meals and snacks, nappy changes, naps and plenty of supervised floor play.
We would love for him to take part in age-appropriate activities such as sensory play, reading, music, outdoor walks and local baby groups. As he is active and curious, the setting should be safely baby-proofed and allow him space to crawl, explore and practise his developing mobility.
The childminder must be Ofsted registered, hold a current paediatric first-aid certificate and provide a smoke-free environment. Clear communication is important to us, including regular updates about his feeds, naps, nappies, activities and mood. We would also expect any medication, outings, new foods or concerns to be discussed with us in advance.
