Hello! My name is Shabaz, and I am a qualified Primary School Teacher with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a PGCE in Primary Education. My Experience
I have extensive experience working with children and young people from EYFS through to Key Stage 5, both in mainstream education and specialist SEND settings. Alongside my teaching experience across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, I have worked as a SEND Teaching Assistant supporting children with autism, ADHD, SEMH needs, communication difficulties and additional learning needs. These experiences have equipped me with the skills to provide patient, nurturing and individualised care for every child.
My Qualifications
I am a fully qualified Primary School Teacher, holding both a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) in Primary Education and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). I also hold a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree in English Literature, which has given me a strong foundation in communication, literacy and child development. Alongside my qualifications, I have extensive experience working with children from Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) through to Key Stage 5, both in mainstream schools and specialist SEND settings. I am committed to continuous professional development and regularly build upon my knowledge to ensure I provide the highest standard of care, learning and support for every child.
My Availability
I offer flexible availability to suit the needs of busy families. I am available throughout the week for mornings, afternoons, evenings, and can also provide some overnight care when required. I am also available at weekends and during school holidays. As a qualified teacher, I understand that family schedules can vary, so I am happy to discuss regular, part-time, full-time, or ad-hoc childcare arrangements. I hold a full UK driving licence and have my own car, allowing me to travel reliably and provide school runs, collect children from activities, and support families across Formby and the surrounding areas.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
My standard childcare rate is £15 per hour. For children requiring additional SEND support or educational support, including homework assistance, phonics or targeted learning activities, my rate is £16.50 per hour. Evening and weekend bookings are charged at £18 per hour. Overnight care is available and can be discussed on an individual basis, depending on your family's specific requirements. I am always happy to discuss your childcare needs and provide a personalised quote for regular or long-term bookings.
