About Me

Hi! I’m Xiara (Shar-ra)! I am a Children’s Nursing student with a genuine passion for working with children. I’m caring, patient and responsible, and I enjoy creating a fun, safe and supportive environment for children of all ages.

I come from a big family. Growing up with four much younger siblings and lots of younger cousins, I’ve spent many years helping to care for babies and young children, lwhich has given me plenty of hands on experience with everything from playtime and bedtime routines to feeding and keeping children entertained.

Through my nursing degree and NHS placements, I’ve developed strong communication skills, knowledge of child development, safeguarding awareness and have undergone lots of training such as basic life support training and more. I understand the importance of providing safe, compassionate care and making both children and parents feel comfortable and reassured.

I’m happy to help with babysitting, playing games, reading stories, homework support, meal preparation and bedtime routines.

• I have plenty of experience helping care for my four younger siblings, and children I work with on my nursing placements, including babies, toddlers and school-aged children.
