About Me
Hi, I’m Stef. I’m 44 and a mum to two children, aged 24 and 10. I’ve worked in schools for almost 10 years as a Teaching Assistant, supporting children with SEN and SEMH needs. I genuinely love working with children and helping them feel happy, safe and understood.
I’m a calm, patient and caring person who enjoys getting involved in whatever the children are interested in, whether that’s crafts, playing outside, board games or reading stories. I’m quite creative and don’t mind getting messy if it means the children are having fun!
When I’m not working, I enjoy going to the gym, spending time with my family and catching up with friends. I know how important it is to find someone you can trust with your children and I’ll always care for them as if they were my own.
My Experience
I’ve spent nearly 10 years working with children in both schools and youth work settings. Ive been working as a Teaching Assistant in primary & secondary schools, mainly supporting children with SEN and SEMH needs. Before that, I worked in youth clubs, helping to organise activities, support young people and build positive relationships.
I’ve worked with children of different ages, personalities and abilities, so I’m confident adapting to each child’s individual needs. Whether it’s helping with homework, keeping them entertained, or providing extra support for children who need it. I bring plenty of experience along with a calm, patient and caring approach.
