About Me

I am a determined and devoted mother who places my children’s wellbeing at the heart of every decision I make. I balance a demanding career as a Civil Servant and shift worker while raising two young children and navigating the challenges of co-parenting.

I am organised, proactive, and detail-oriented, particularly when it comes to my children’s health, medical care, and overall development. I believe in maintaining clear records and ensuring they receive the best possible support.

As a Civil Servant, my working hours, days, nights, and weeks can vary due to shift work. However, I receive my work rota six weeks in advance, allowing me to plan childcare, appointments, and family commitments well ahead of time. This enables me to provide consistency and structure for my children despite the flexibility required in my role.

I value loyalty, honesty, and respect in all my relationships. Despite the responsibilities I carry, I make time to create happy memories with my children through family outings, outdoor adventures, and cosy movie nights at home.

Jazariah is a bright, curious four-year-old who is growing in confidence every day. She enjoys exploring new activities and loves learning new things. She has eczema, which can significantly affect her comfort during flare-ups, as well as a strawberry allergy.

She is affectionate, kind, and sensitive. When she is uncomfortable or feeling stressed, this can present as increased scratching or changes in her behaviour. I have worked hard to support her development, including successfully potty training her and preparing her for the transition to school.

Elijah is a happy, active two-year-old with a playful and engaging personality. Although he has more complex medical needs than many children his age, he approaches life with resilience and curiosity.

He manages eczema alongside other ongoing medical conditions, requiring prescribed medication, thickened fluids, and regular hospital appointments. I carefully oversee his daily care, ensuring his treatment plans are followed consistently and that he receives the support recommended by his healthcare professionals. Despite the many medical appointments and assessments he has experienced, Elijah continues to be a cheerful and resilient little boy.

Together, we are a close-knit family. Our home is centred around ensuring Jazariah and Elijah feel safe, loved, supported, and encouraged to thrive.

While we have faced challenges, particularly in managing eczema, medical needs, and co-parenting, my focus has always remained on providing my children with stability, consistency, and a nurturing environment. I am committed to advocating for their needs, celebrating every milestone, and supporting them through every challenge, so they can grow into happy, healthy, and confident children.
