Hi there!
My name is Buse and I'm looking for a part-time nanny role. I'm originally from Ireland, and have lived in London the last 5 years.
I have over 10 years experience with children and young people. I have been a nanny, managed a youth club, run a drama programme, and now I'm looking for something that allows me to build a relationship with a family while I work on my part-time masters in Mental Health and Medical Anthropology!
I have a philosophy of kindness and respect when it comes to young people, and this has allowed me to connect with many different kinds of children. I am highly organised, empathetic, and have a great passion for cooking delicious meals. I was a vegetarian for 5 years so can cook a variety of both plant-based and meat meals, and have gathered much knowledge in balancing nutritious meals.
My Experience
In university I studied Drama and Classical Civilisation at Trinity College Dublin while working as a part time nanny. I believe my degree has offered me much in building connection and play with children, and I always have a good bedtime story from my classical education!
I have experience in ages 3-18. As a nanny, I ensured that homework and dinner were the priorities, as well as making sure we had time for imaginative play. Since then, I have managed a busy youth club in Hackney, where I coordinated over 25 young people at times, run a drama programme at Mountview Academy of the Dramatic arts for over 250 young people, and volunteered extensively. I have very robust safeguarding training, and genuinely enjoy working with young people.

Level 2 Food Hygiene and Safety for Catering
Level 2 Advanced Child Safeguarding
Level 3 Designated Child Safeguarding
