About Me
I am 52 year old mum of two teenage girls living in Broadstairs. I am a registered social worker and have spent many years working directly with mums and babies and I’m now looking to move out of social services and work locally with a family. I am passionate about making sure children’s needs are met well and naturally that involves making sure they have lots of fun too. I’m organised, a great communicator and reliable. I’m a bit of a runner and can often been found running along the cliffs between Broadstairs and Margate at some silly hour in the mornings!
My Experience
When my own children were young, I worked in play groups and volunteered with childline/nspcc doing well-being workshops with primary school children. That led me to then retraining as a social worker were for six years I have worked with many families in difficulties and have supported them throughout. For two years I worked in a residential parenting assessment centre where I typically cared for new born babies and taught parents how to care for them.
