Marilyn
Babysitter in Cambridge
My Summary
About Me
Hi, I’m Marilyn! I’m a Biomedical Science student at Anglia Ruskin University, and I’m looking for a part-time childcare role alongside my studies. I’m a caring, patient and creative person who loves spending time with children and helping them feel comfortable, confident and supported.
I’m naturally quite warm and approachable, and I enjoy activities such as reading, arts and crafts, games and having conversations. I’m also an older sister to two younger brothers, so I understand the importance of being someone younger people can trust, look up to and feel relaxed around.
My Experience
I am currently studying Biomedical Science at Anglia Ruskin University, where I have developed strong organisation, communication and problem-solving skills through lectures, practical laboratory work and group projects. My degree has taught me the importance of being patient, detail-oriented and responsible, which are qualities I bring into caring for children.
Outside of my studies, I enjoy creative activities such as reading, writing, arts and crafts, and crochet, which I would love to incorporate into fun and engaging activities with children. I am also involved in university activities and have experience working collaboratively with others, supporting people and communicating with different personalities.
As an older sister to two younger brothers, I have developed a natural understanding of patience, encouragement and creating a safe environment where children feel comfortable being themselves. I enjoy helping others, listening and building positive relationships, which is why I am excited about supporting children and families.
