About Me

My name is Myanne and I am an undergraduate student in the university of Edinburgh, I will be starting my second year of studies in September and I am 20 years old. I study philosophy and politics. I have been working with children since the age of 14, babysitting, nannying and working in a daycare. I love children and enjoy working with them. I have a lot of experience with babies and small toddlers but also with older children.

My Experience

I started regularly babysitting at the age of 14. When I was 17 and 18 I worked in the summers in a daycare for ages 1.5-3 yr. I also worked helping a mother with her three month old and three year old for a summer and I nannied an eight month old in the afternoons for a period of about 6 months. In my gap year I volunteered full time in a daycare for asylum seeker children working mainly in the baby class (0.3-1.5 yr) but also with the toddler class (1.5 - 3 yr) and twice a week in the afternoon with older kids (3-6yr).

My Qualifications

I have no formal qualifications but extensive experience with all ages.

My Availability

I will be available to work as an ad-hoc babysitter this summer (until September when I return to university) sometimes during the day and most evenings and weekends.
