About Me
I am an accredited childminder and have been registered since September 2001. I aim to provide a home from home warm caring environment where all children are made very welcome and are equal.
I live with my Husband Peter, who has also been my assistant for the last year. We have two daughters who now have their own families & we have four grandchildren.
The only papers we have are fish.

My Experience
I have minded many children over the years and am still in contact with all of them! The children i care for become part of our family very quickly.
26 years experience childminding and have been a parent for 30 years.
I enjoy my community & like the children in my care to get to know the community too, with frequent visits to play groups, parks, shops & library.
I am a trustee of Abbey People our local charity that supports our community.
I enjoy my job & get a lot of job satisfaction from it, watching the children grow & learn to the best of their ability. I have had some experience with SEN children & keep my training up to date.
My Qualifications
I have a level 3 qualification in childcare and update my training continuously.
I can claim government funding for 15 & 30 hours from the age of 9mths for qualifying children.
I am also a member CORAM.
I have an up to date first aid certificate.
I regularly attend training and support sessions when possible.
My Availability
I have no vacancies at the moment & do not anticipate any until September 2027.
I work Monday to Thursday 7.30am to 5pm.
My Fees
- Childminding from £6.50 per hour
My fees are available on request.
My Local Schools

Sharon took on my son when he was 6 months for a day a week and I then upped it to 3 days a week when I started back at work. I had previously been looking at nurserys but Sharon has been so great with my son that I now needn't bother.
Sharon has excellent credentials and is very experienced and knowlegable about all aspects of childcare. She looks after my son beautifuly, she is easy to talk to and very down to earth. My son loves going to her, playing and learning in a wonderfuly happy and safe environment.
I would througherly reccomend her to anyone.
