My Experience

As a Children’s Nursing student at King’s College London, I have gained experience caring for babies, children and young people across a range of hospital placements. These experiences have strengthened my communication, safeguarding, observation and problem-solving skills while teaching me how to remain calm, patient and compassionate in different situations. Working closely with children and their families has helped me understand the importance of building trust, creating a positive environment and providing care tailored to each child’s individual needs. I am excited to bring these skills into a babysitting or nannying role, providing safe, reliable and engaging childcare.

My Qualifications

I am currently studying Children’s Nursing at King’s College London, where I am developing the knowledge and practical skills to care for babies, children and young people. My training includes safeguarding, child development, communication, infection prevention, medication safety and paediatrics Basic Life Support. Through my placements, I have gained valuable experience working with children and their families in a variety of healthcare settings.

My Availability

Until September, I am available for part-time childcare on a few days each week, as well as evenings and weekends where suitable. Once university resumes, my availability will vary around my timetable and clinical placements. I am happy to discuss and agree a flexible schedule in advance that works for both your family and my studies. I value clear communication and will always provide as much notice as possible regarding my availability.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £18.00 per hour
• Nannying from £20.00 per hour (gross)

My standard rate starts from £18 per hour for one child. Rates may vary depending on the number of children, the time of day (e.g. evenings or weekends), and any additional responsibilities. I’m always happy to discuss a rate that works for both of us.
