About Me
My name is Delia , ive worked with children in a school in a primary school at Tidbury green primary school I volunteered because its something I'm interested in the future so working there for just under 3 months really encouraged those attention to detail , leadership and empathetic skills . I'm a caring and thoughtful person and I believe every child's needs is different but my approach is always similar which is calm yet disciplined but very approachable I want to make sure every child feels happy , safe and healthy . I love to encourage children to communicate their feelings good or bad and in particularly young children need constant attention I which I believe I am best suited for this sort of work because I am so passionate about helping the most vulnerable members of society .
My Experience
I've worked in a primary school prior at Tidbury Green primary school it was such a wonderful and rewarding experience . I'm good with languages ; Spanish, romanian, English and beginner at Arabic because I wanted to broaden my skill set with children .in fact the children that I taught were kids who struggled to communicate in English so being able to be trilingual made an immense impact because it allowed those children to feel comfortable and be able to express their true needs . I've also done may sitting jobs for family members I come from a big family so as one of the eldest I have no trouble with respobilty and multitasking.
My Qualifications
I have both gcses and a levels and currently completing a international relations degree at the univeristy of leicester with hopes of becoming a teacher .
My Availability
I've available in the after school shifts but if needs be in the day I can also do so but preferably the afternoon would be great .
My Fees
- Babysitting from £20.00 per hour
£20 an hour would be ideal
