My Experience

I have several years of experience working in early years settings, caring for children from babies through to preschool age. During this time, I have developed a strong understanding of children’s individual needs, development stages, and the importance of providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment.

I have experience supporting children’s learning through play, planning and carrying out age-appropriate activities, supporting routines, encouraging independence, and helping children build confidence. I have worked closely with families and colleagues to ensure each child receives consistent care and support.

My experience includes caring for babies, supporting their feeding and sleep routines, helping toddlers develop their communication and independence, and preparing preschool children for their next steps. I have supported children with a range of personalities and needs, always taking a calm, patient, and individual approach.

I am confident in safeguarding procedures, observing and recording children’s development, supporting children’s emotional wellbeing, and creating positive relationships with both children and parents. My nursery experience has given me the skills, knowledge, and confidence to provide high-quality one-to-one care as a private nanny.

My Qualifications

I hold both Level 2 and Level 3 childcare qualifications, which have provided me with a strong foundation in early years education, child development, safeguarding, and supporting children’s individual needs.

Through my training and practical experience, I have developed a thorough understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), planning and providing age-appropriate activities, observing children’s progress, and creating safe, stimulating environments where children can learn and thrive.

I have also completed paediatric first aid training and hold a valid DBS check. My qualifications, alongside my years of hands-on experience working with children from babies through to preschool age, have given me the knowledge, confidence, and skills needed to provide high-quality, nurturing childcare as a private nanny.

My Availability

I am ideally looking for a nanny position Monday to Thursday, allowing me to provide consistent and reliable care throughout the week. I am open to discussing Friday availability for the right family and the right opportunity, depending on the role, hours, and overall package offered.

I am flexible and willing to work with a family’s needs to create a positive and long-term working relationship. I am looking for a position where I can use my childcare experience, skills, and passion to provide high-quality care and support a child’s development.
