About Me

I offer a warm, calm and supportive blend of tutoring and childcare, shaped by my experience as a teacher and youth practitioner. I hold an enhanced DBS and have worked extensively with children and young people across mainstream, SEND, SEMH and alternative provision educational settings, bringing patience, adaptability and a strong understanding of individual needs in everything I do.
Alongside childcare, I provide personalised tutoring in Spanish, French, Music and Art, drawing on my academic background and teaching experience. I support children with homework, confidence?building, creative learning and structured study routines, always adapting my approach to suit their personality, interests and learning style.
In childcare and babysitting, I offer a nurturing, reliable presence. I am confident supporting children of different ages, including those with additional needs, and I create a safe, positive environment where they can play, learn and feel secure. I enjoy planning creative activities, sensory play, arts?based projects and quiet routines that help children settle and enjoy their time.
Families often describe me as warm, grounded and easy for children to connect with. I value clear communication, consistency and building trust with both parents and young people. Whether you are looking for tutoring, babysitting, or a combination of both, I bring a thoughtful, professional approach that supports children academically, emotionally and creatively.

My Experience

As a qualified teacher with experience across mainstream, SEND and SEMH settings, a strong foundation has been built in supporting children’s learning, wellbeing and confidence. Work in specialist environments has developed a calm, adaptable approach that helps children feel secure, regulated and able to engage meaningfully with learning.
Experience extends beyond the classroom into gallery education, youth work and international teaching. At Tate Modern and Tate Britain, work within Learning and Public Programmes involved supporting school groups, facilitating creative workshops and engaging young people with contemporary art in accessible, inclusive ways. Youth work across SEND and complex?needs contexts further strengthened skills in communication, safeguarding and building trust with children who benefit from patient, structured support.
Time spent teaching English in France added cross?cultural experience and strengthened language?learning pedagogy, complementing tutoring offered in Spanish, French, Music and Art. Artist residencies at ICA and Queercircle contributed to a deep understanding of creative practice, sensory?aware learning and the value of imaginative environments for children’s development.
Childcare and babysitting experience includes supporting routines, supervising play, planning creative activities and offering steady, nurturing care in home settings. Across all roles, the focus remains on creating emotionally safe, engaging and confidence?building spaces where children can learn, explore and feel supported.
