About Me
I am a warm, caring and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner with over three years of experience working with children. I currently work across a range of nursery settings in Manchester as an Agency Nursery Practitioner, supporting children aged 0–5 years following the EYFS framework. I enjoy creating fun, engaging and safe learning experiences where children can learn through play, build confidence and develop essential life skills. My Experience
I have experience working in a variety of nursery settings across Manchester, providing high-quality care for children aged 0–5 years. My responsibilities include planning and supporting play-based activities; assisting with feeding, personal care, toileting, and sleep routines; promoting children's communication and social development; and ensuring a safe, nurturing environment while adhering to safeguarding and EYFS requirements. Alongside my nursery experience, I have worked as a Primary English Teacher and Assistant Lecturer, which has given me strong skills in child development, behaviour management, early literacy, communication, and supporting children's learning. I adapt quickly to new environments and enjoy helping every child feel happy, safe and valued.
My Qualifications
I am currently studying for a Master of Research (MRes) in Leadership and Management at the University of Derby. I hold a BA and MA in English Language and Literature, a Trinity CertTESOL (Level 5, Grade A), and an IELTS Academic Band 7. I have completed professional training in child-centred learning, ICT in Primary Education, and Teaching for Learning. I am currently completing an Introduction to the Early Years Foundation Stage.
My Availability
I am available on all days, including weekends, except Thursdays.
My Fees
- Nursery work from £12.00 per hour
My fees are flexible depending on the type of childcare, location, hours required, and whether the role is temporary or ongoing. Please feel free to contact me to discuss your requirements, and I will be happy to agree on a suitable rate
