A perfect home from home setting!

Our daughter has just left Amy’s after joining her setting at 8 months old and leaving at 4 and a half to start school. We have absolutely loved her time at Amy’s, and our daughter adores her too. She talks about her every day and goes in happy and excited to see Amy.

We were feeling so sad leaving our 8-month-old, but we felt so confident in Amy and were so grateful for all her updates. She never made us feel like we were being over the top with our regular questions or needing lots of updates! Everything Amy does is for the children, and you can really see how much she cares about them, always putting their happiness and needs first.

Amy creates such a calm, nurturing and safe environment where children can develop in confidence and socially. She takes the children out every day to lots of different places, including parks, playgroups, soft plays, libraries, forest school, special theatre trips and activities with other local childminders. At home, the children do a range of learning activities and are given lots of opportunities to mix with children of different ages and engage with the wider community.

We are so sad that our daughter is going to school and will no longer be going to Amy’s or have her as such a big influence in her life. Amy has given her the confidence to be creative and curious about the world and has taught her so much amazing knowledge about nature and the world around her.

We feel so, so lucky to have met Amy and her family. Anyone would be incredibly fortunate to have her as their childminder, and we couldn’t recommend her highly enough.
