Hi, I'm Ludmila! I'm finishing my Master's in Edinburgh in Economics, Banking & Finance and Applied Mathematics and I'm looking for regular childcare work from September.
I'm reliable, patient, and comfortable managing school pickups, homework help, and keeping things fun and calm during the after-school hours. Since I'm no longer in lectures, I have a stable, predictable schedule to offer, not juggling classes around it. I speak French natively and English fluently, and I also speak Spanish, happy to bring some language practice into playtime if useful for your family.
I'm organised and used to working across different environments and cultures through my studies and previous internships, and I take commitments seriously, f we agree on a schedule, you can count on me to show up and be present.
My Experience
I grew up around childcare, my mum worked as a registered nanny so I spent a lot of time around babies and young children and picked up a real feel for their routines and needs.
I've babysat a range of ages: twins under two along with their 5yo older brother, and a girl between nine and eleven with her little brother (around two) for two years on a regular basis. I've also covered occasional one off and emergency babysitting when families needed last minute help. In my first years of university, I also worked as a tutor, giving lessons in maths, violin, and after school support.
So I'm comfortable across a wide age range, from infants to pre teens and with both the hands on care side and the more structured, educational side of looking after kids.
My Qualifications
MSc student in Economics, Banking & Finance and Applied Mathematics for Finance, strong background in maths and coding, which makes me confident and comfortable helping with maths homework and schoolwork at any level. I can also cook, so I'm happy to prepare meals or snacks when needed.
