Live Out Nanny Job in Windsor
About Me
We are a french family who has just relocated to Windsor. We have two children, aged 10 and 13. We are regularly away in the evenings and overnight for work and social commitments, and we are looking for someone who can provide a reassuring adult presence at home while we are away. The key requirement is a regular commitment of at least 3 nights per week. Some weeks may be 4 nights some weeks may be none, depending on our schedule, but the minimum commitment would be 3 nights every week typically Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays. The nights would be agreed in advance. We are a friendly family and are looking for someone who would enjoy becoming a trusted part of our household.
My Requirements
This is a very light childcare role, particularly suited to someone who enjoys older children and is looking for accommodation in Windsor.
When we are away, you would generally:
Be at home when the children return from school
Help organise or prepare a simple dinner if needed
Be available if they need anything during the evening
Make sure they are settled and everything is fine before going to bed
Stay overnight in the house
Be there as a responsible adult should anything arise
The children are mature and autonomous for their ages. They do not need entertaining, constant supervision or help with their schoolwork.
There is no morning childcare, no school run and no daytime childcare required, as they are at school until around 6pm.
You would have your own private furnished en-suite bedroom in our family home in Windsor.
The accommodation is being offered as part of a mutually agreed live-in arrangement, with the exact expectations and financial terms to be discussed depending on the candidate and the final structure of the arrangement.
In return for the agreed childcare commitment, you would have the benefit of living in Windsor and would have plenty of personal time outside the agreed evenings.

Mature and sensible
Independent and respectful of family life
Comfortable being responsible for older children for an evening/overnight
Able to commit to a minimum of 3 nights per week on a regular basis
Reliable and willing to agree your schedule in advance
Previous childcare experience is preferred. This could suit a mature student/postgraduate, young professional, teacher/teaching assistant, experienced babysitter or nanny, or someone looking for accommodation in Windsor.
A current DBS check, references and appropriate safeguarding checks will be required.
