About Me
We are a french family based in Windsor seeking a trusted, mature and reliable Family Assistant to provide residential support during occasional periods when both parents are travelling for work. Our children are aged 9 and 12, attend school during the week, and are largely independent. This is not a traditional nanny role. We are looking for a responsible adult who can ensure routines run smoothly, supervise the children, and help manage the household while we are away.
My Requirements
Childcare & Family Support
Stay overnight in the family home during agreed travel periods.
Support morning routines and ensure children are ready for school.
Welcome children home after school and provide supervision.
Encourage homework completion and maintain evening routines.
Prepare simple, healthy meals and snacks.
Coordinate transport and activities where required.
Act as the responsible adult and emergency contact while parents are travelling.
Maintain regular communication with parents during travel periods.
Liaise with grandparents if required.
Household Support
Keep the home tidy and organised during assignments.
Manage light housekeeping tasks, including:
Loading/unloading dishwasher
Kitchen clean-up after meals
Laundry and ironing
Changing bed linen as required
Keeping family and children's areas neat and presentable
Light grocery shopping and household errands
Monitor household supplies and advise when restocking is needed.
Assist in ensuring the home runs smoothly during parental absence.
