My Experience

Having been born and raised in a large, close-knit family, I was always surrounded by my nieces, nephews, and cousins. As my mother was a single parent, I also lived with my brother, sister-in-law, and my nieces for a period of time, and I often helped them care for the children.

While living in Barcelona, I babysat for a family friend's son, Diego. My responsibilities included preparing simple meals and snacks, picking him up from and dropping him off at school, taking him to the park, and spending quality time with him.

I also occasionally babysat for the daughter of one of my Turkish friends. As her parents were not very fluent in English, they wanted her to spend time with someone who could speak English with her while providing a safe, caring, and fun environment.

My Qualifications

I studied at an English-Medium high school and later studied Biology at Istanbul University. I taught English and Biology for three years before starting my corporate career in hospitals and insurance sector where I worked for 12 nears as a Laboratory Assistant and Risk Assessment Specialist.
I also have Common Core & Skills in childcare certificate.
