My Experience

I have five years of professional experience caring for children from newborns through to 16 years of age, alongside experience supporting young adults in a university wellbeing setting.

I have worked as a full-time nanny in both live-in and live-out roles, providing reliable, attentive care tailored to each family's needs. My responsibilities have included establishing daily routines, preparing meals, supporting children's learning and development, planning activities, school and nursery drop-offs and pick-ups, bath and bedtime routines, overnight care and homework support.

I have extensive experience with babies and young children, including newborn care, feeding routines, weaning, potty training and supporting development through play and age-appropriate activities. I have also cared for multiple children at once, including four children within one family and children from two families in a nanny-share arrangement. This has developed my ability to manage different ages, routines and needs while maintaining a calm and positive environment.

As a nanny, I have travelled extensively with families within the UK and internationally, including to South Africa and Ibiza. These experiences required flexibility, organisation and discretion, as well as maintaining familiar routines and helping children feel settled in different environments.

Alongside my nannying experience, I have worked in primary education and university wellbeing. My current school role involves supporting children's learning and development, including delivering interventions, while my previous university role involved supporting students with their wellbeing and helping them access appropriate support. Across these roles, I have gained experience supporting people with a range of needs, including children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and neurodevelopmental differences.

I hold a First-Class degree in Primary Education with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), an MSc in Developmental Psychology, Paediatric First Aid and Level 3 Safeguarding training. My background gives me a strong understanding of child development, learning and emotional wellbeing, which I bring to my approach to childcare.

I value building positive, trusting relationships with children and their families, and aim to provide a safe, reassuring and engaging environment where children feel comfortable, supported and able to be themselves.

My Qualifications

I hold a First-Class Bachelor's degree in Primary Education (ages 5–11) with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), providing me with a strong foundation in child development, learning, behaviour and inclusive practice.

I have also completed an MSc in Developmental Psychology, which developed my understanding of children's social, emotional and cognitive development, wellbeing and the factors that influence how children learn and grow.

Alongside my degrees, I have completed Paediatric First Aid and Level 3 Safeguarding training. Through my professional childcare and school-based experience, I have also supported children with a range of individual needs, including SEND and neurodevelopmental differences.

My qualifications complement my practical experience, allowing me to bring an informed, thoughtful approach to childcare while prioritising children's safety, wellbeing, confidence and development.

My Availability

I am available for evening and weekend babysitting alongside my role in a primary school in Liverpool. My availability can vary depending on the week, so please feel free to get in touch to discuss your requirements.

I am happy to travel a little further for weekend bookings and would love to support local families with occasional babysitting, whether you need an evening out or childcare over the weekend.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £20.00 per hour

My standard babysitting rate is £20 per hour.

Rates may vary depending on the number and ages of children, the hours required and the nature of the booking. I'm happy to discuss individual family requirements and agree on a rate in advance.

For bookings further afield, any additional travel costs can also be discussed beforehand.
