My Experience

I currently work part time as a Family Support Worker, helping them build confidence, provide short break care and achieve positive outcomes. Within this, I help parents with before and after school routines including picking up and dropping off. I enjoy making children feel happy, confident and included and enjoy planning and engaging children in activities based around their interests.
I have previous babysitting experience caring for children and providing a safe, fun and nurturing environment. I have supported children with their individual routines, needs and interests while encouraging play, creativity and confidence. I understand the importance of building trusting relationships with parents and children to ensure children feel comfortable in my care.
During my midwifery training, I supported families through all stages of pregnancy and provided hands-on care for newborn babies including feeding settling, comfort and general newborn care. I supported parents and newborns through the first few weeks.
I have experience providing one-to-one support for a child with autism, adapting my approach to meet their individual needs, supporting routines and consistency.

My Availability

My availability varies but is flexible.
I am available some mornings and evenings but generally available during the day each week day.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £13.00 per hour

My fees are flexible and I am happy to meet the families needs. My fees vary depending on the type of childcare support required, such as the number of children and whether activities/outings are involved and SEN/short break care.
My standard rate is £13 per hour, with flexibility for longer bookings and regular arrangements.
