About Me
Hi! I’m a 21-year-old Psychology student with a genuine love for working with children. I am a caring, patient and responsible person who enjoys creating a fun and safe environment for children to learn and grow.
As the eldest of four siblings, I have had plenty of experience helping to care for younger children from a young age. I am currently studying Psychology, including child and developmental psychology modules, which has given me a strong understanding of children’s development and wellbeing.
I am looking to provide reliable babysitting and childcare support to local families and would love to build positive relationships with both children and parents.
My Experience
I have previous experience caring for children within a family setting and can provide references upon request. My responsibilities have included supervising children, engaging them in activities, helping with routines, taking them on days out and ensuring they were cared for in a safe and nurturing environment.
In addition to this, being the eldest of four siblings has given me extensive practical experience caring for younger children and understanding the needs of children of different ages.
My Psychology degree has also provided me with knowledge of child development, behaviour and emotional wellbeing. I have also taken part in multiple modules based around neurodivergence and the development of neurodivergent children.
My Qualifications
Currently studying for a BSc in Psychology, including modules in Child and Developmental Psychology. Previous childcare experience with references available and DBS checked.
My Availability
I am available for evening and weekend babysitting, as well as part-time childcare around my university commitments. I can also offer additional availability during university holidays and school holiday periods.
