Hi, I’m Amy, the childminder behind Four Little Ducklings. I’m a Level 3 qualified childcare professional with experience working in preschool, including as a Room Leader for children aged 2–4.
I’m passionate about creating a warm, nurturing and homely environment where children feel safe, happy and confident to learn and explore. I believe children learn best through play, positive relationships and having lots of opportunities to be curious and independent.
My setting is a home-from-home environment where every child is treated as an individual. I enjoy planning fun, engaging activities around children’s interests while supporting their development and following the EYFS.
As a mum of four myself, I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust with your little one. I aim to build strong relationships with both children and parents, keeping communication open so you always feel involved in your child’s day.

I’m a Level 3 qualified childcare professional with hands-on experience working in a preschool environment with children aged 2–4.
Before starting Four Little Ducklings, I worked as a Room Leader, where I was responsible for supporting children's learning and development, planning engaging activities, building positive relationships with children and families, and creating a safe and stimulating environment.
I have experience supporting children across all areas of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and understand the importance of recognising each child as an individual and supporting them at their own pace.
I am also Safeguarding trained and hold Food Hygiene Level 2. I regularly keep my knowledge and understanding of childcare practice up to date.
My experience has taught me that children thrive when they feel safe, listened to and valued. I bring this approach into Four Little Ducklings, creating a nurturing environment where children can develop their confidence, independence and love of learning through play.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £10.00 per hour
- Childminding from £8.50 per hour
My standard childcare hours are:
Tuesday–Thursday
8:00am–6:00pm
Early drop-off from 7:30am can also be discussed.
My private childcare rate is £8.50 per hour.
There is also a £30 monthly outings charge and £2 per day for snacks, where applicable.
