Part Time Nanny Job in New Milton
About Me
We are a home educating family with a 19 month old and a ten year old, both girls. I work from home and am looking for support so that I can get a few more hours of work done during the day.
I was a nanny myself for 17 years so I understand that looking a part time role and with a family where a parent is in the house is not often the ideal, but hoping someone may have other part time roles they can work around.
We’re really friendly and chilled, the 19 month old is non stop on the go, so someone with lots of energy would be good. And our ten year old is a very happy helper, shy at first but will be chattier once she gets comfortable.
We do have a dog, he’s 13 and very soppy and friendly.
My Requirements
Looking for part time help to care for my ten year old and 19 month old. At the moment I’m thinking Fridays from about 10 until 3. The toddler naps for an hour or so at about 12/1 (depending on the time she wakes up) so I can take her off to get her down and that would mean some time for you to spend with ten year old, which would be lovely for her.
As my hours increase with work I’d be looking for another day, likely a Wednesday but obviously I can’t say for sure right now and depends on your own availability too.
We would also love to find someone who could babysit one evening per month, but this isn’t a deal breaker at all.
We do unfortunately have to find someone who is Ofsted registered so that we can get funding to help pay for the hours. I know this is a pain for anyone who isn’t. If it’s any help I’ve been Ofsted registered myself and am happy to advice on how to do it and costs etc. Also if you happen to be on Universal credit they will actually fund you for it if you can tell them you will have a job at the end of it, I’ve done this myself!
