My Experience

I have several years of experience caring for children in both professional childcare and educational settings, working with children from babies through to primary school age.

My experience includes:

* Early Years Practitioner (2024–Present): Working in a nursery with children aged 0–5 years across the baby room, toddler room and pre-school. My role includes planning engaging activities, supporting children’s learning and development, promoting independence, maintaining safeguarding standards, building positive relationships with families, and providing high-quality care in line with the EYFS.
* Nanny (Summer 2025): Providing one-to-one childcare within a family home, creating fun and educational activities, supporting daily routines, and ensuring a safe, nurturing environment tailored to each child’s individual needs.
* Primary School Placements: Supporting teachers in the classroom, working with children individually and in small groups, encouraging learning and confidence, and gaining valuable experience across the primary curriculum while developing my classroom management skills.
* Reception Class Placement: Completing a placement in a Reception classroom, supporting children as they transitioned into school through play-based learning and structured activities.
* Childminder Experience: Gaining experience caring for babies under one year old in a home-based childcare setting, supporting routines, play and early development.

Qualifications and Training

* Makaton Training
* Speech and Language Training
* LADO Safeguarding Training
* Full UK Driving Licence and own transport

- Working towards my Level 6 in Early Childhood Studies (2027).

My Availability

I am flexible and available for childcare during weekday evenings, weekends and school holidays.

I am happy to provide occasional babysitting, regular weekend nannying, or ongoing childcare support depending on your family’s needs. I can be flexible with morning and afternoon bookings at weekends, and I’m also open to discussing additional evening support during the week.

I have good availability throughout the year, with only occasional planned commitments, and I’m happy to work with families to create a schedule that works well for everyone.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £15.00 per hour

My standard childcare rate is £15 per hour.

For journeys using my own vehicle, I kindly ask for mileage to be reimbursed at 45p per mile.

If outings involve admission fees (such as soft play, farms, zoos, swimming or other attractions), I ask that the family covers the cost of both the child’s and my admission, along with any parking or transport expenses incurred while caring for your child.
