About Me

My wife and I are expecting our first baby on 11 August 2026. We live in Biggleswade and are looking for a warm, reliable childminder who can provide a caring home environment when my wife returns to work in June 2027. My wife works a rotating police shift pattern, while I work Monday to Friday, 9:00am–5:30pm, with one or two days in the office each week.

My Requirements

We are looking for childcare from June 2027, initially on a flexible basis around my wife’s repeating six-week shift rota. Our needs may vary by week, although most care would be during normal weekday working hours. We are particularly interested in someone who can offer some flexibility rather than requiring exactly the same days every week.

We may also combine childminder care with nursery availability, so we would be happy to discuss either regular days or a rota-based arrangement. Please let us know what availability you expect to have from June 2027 and whether you accept Tax-Free Childcare and funded hours when eligible.
