About Me

I am 18 years old and really enjoyed my previous experience working with kids when I volenteered at rainbows for over a year. I am a student at durham University but live in Carlisle out of term time, this means I have full availability when I am in Carlisle. I am enthusiastic and fun as well as being trustworthy and I have great communication skills.

My Experience

Rainbows volunteer, my responsibilities including:
• Led group games and activities for girls during sessions
• Set out activity equipment before sessions
• Cleared away equipment and tidied spaces after each activity
• Ensure that everyone felt included and supported the girls in being kind to each other

Hockey coach assistant, my responsibilities including:
• Lead warm-ups for the players
• Organise people into teams and groups for each session
• Demonstrating drills and helping players with correct form
• Setting up before sessions and clearing away afterwards
• Taking attendance

I have also had a few previous experiences of babysitting for parents friends.

My Qualifications

I have experience working with children form my year of experience volunteering at rainbows. I have a basic DBS check.

My Availability

As I am also a student I will be available out of term time. During this period I have full availability.
