About Me
Hello, I'm Kate, a caring and passionate childminder and a proud mum of two wonderful children. Becoming a parent has given me first-hand experience of how important it is to find childcare that feels safe, loving, and like a home away from home.
I provide a warm, nurturing environment where every child is valued as an individual. I love supporting children as they learn through play and explore the world around them. Every day includes a mix of fun activities, creative play, outdoor adventures, stories, and opportunities to learn in exciting ways. My aim is for every child in my care to feel happy, secure, and excited to come in each day, while giving parents complete peace of mind that their little one is in safe and caring hands.
My Experience
Before becoming a childminder, I spent 16 years working as a primary school teacher, supporting children of different ages and abilities to learn, grow, and reach their full potential. This experience has given me a strong understanding of child development, the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), and how to create engaging learning opportunities through play and everyday experiences.
As both a qualified teacher and a mum of two, I bring a wealth of knowledge, patience, and genuine care to my childminding setting.

My Availability
Childminder:
Full year provision (through school holidays)
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday: 8:00am-17:30pm
Babysitting: Evenings and Weekends
My Fees
- Babysitting from £16.00 per hour
- Childminding from £8.00 per hour
My daily rate is £76 per child.
I offer funded childcare places for eligible families, including:
Government-funded childcare for eligible children aged 9 months to 2 years.
Government-funded childcare for 2-year-olds who meet the eligibility criteria.
